COMPLETED :

2006

Airey Taylor Consuting (formerly Airey Ryan & Hill) were engaged by Samsung to perform a value engineering study on the 40 storey Abu Dhabi Investment Authority head office building in the United Arab Emirates.

The option identified delivered a cost savings of US $20 million to the budgeted value of US $200 million – the proposed cost of the design as presented for tender. Samsung were engaged to build the ADIA Tower building and associated carpark and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority instructed the original Engineering group to redesign and redocument the building in accordance with the methodology identified by Airey Taylor Consulting.

ADIA then chose to increase the size of the building by additional floors to expand the cost to the original budget of US $200 million. Samsung were hence successful with their tender.
