Our Educational projects are celebrated in industry Awards and are recognised for excellence.
We have completed over 90 greenfield facilities and have been responsible for a huge volume of alterations to existing facilities.
Recent examples include the B311 Superlab at Curtin University (Best Educational Building $5 – $10 Million in the 2019 Master Builders Association Excellence in Construction Awards) and South Metropolitan TAFE T Block Building at Murdoch campus (winner of Best Infrastructure Project in the 2019 Concrete Institute of Australia (WA) Awards and Best Educational Building $20-$50 Million in the 2018 Master Builders Association WA Awards).
We are a preferred Structural and Civil Engineering provider to both elite private Perth schools and public sector schools. We have been responsible for establishing benchmark standards of excellence in Structural design for schools.
Our design encompasses all structural and civil aspects of educational institutions ranging from the provision of sporting facilities, cultural and performance spaces, vocational training centres, classrooms, administrative centres and chapels.
Primary
Airey Taylor Consulting have been responsible for the structural and civil design of many primary school facilities in Perth. We provided the contract drawings and specification for tender and construction for earthworks, car parks, driveways, roadside embayment’s and storm water drainage for public and private schools like Aubin Grove Primary School, Wanneroo Primary School and Perth Early Years College. We also undertake forensic and scientific assessments for those schools.
Secondary
We are the preferred structural and civil provider to a number of elite private schools in Perth, as well as having a formidable track records of metropolitan and regional public sector schools. We have been responsible for establishing benchmark standards of excellence in structural design for schools and provided design and documentation of the structural component of over 90 complete new schools in Western Australia.
Tertiary
We have produced and introduced innovative engineering solutions to Western Australia that created time efficient and easily built facilities. We have the capacity to design complex structural systems and analyse non-regular geometries and transfer structures, resulting in enhanced spaces in tertiary education settings, such as Edith Cowan University Sport and Recreation Facility.
Airey Taylor Consulting has worked on numerous large-scale projects for training colleges in Western Australia. This includes the professional services required for disciplines of geotechnical, civil, structural and facade engineering for the award-winning $59.5 million Central TAFE building in Northbridge and $45 million Challenger Institute of Technology at Murdoch.
