Extensive experience in the structural design of health facilities within Western Australia led to the appointment of Airey Taylor Consulting (Airey Ryan & Hill at the time) as Honorary Consultants for various projects for the former WA Institute of Child Health, and later for the design of the TVW Telethon Research Institute of Child Health in Subiaco.
This dedicated research facility is symbolic of the unique national and international role played by the centre for excellence for maternal and child health research and houses 180 research staff and students and is located adjacent to the former Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.
