Marwick Farm Shed & Barn, York

We were briefed by the Heritage Council of WA to provide expert assessment on the Main Shed and Cart Shed of the site and provided the recommendations into the repairs and upgrade of the site be :

Recommendations for the Main Shed included the rotation or demolishment and reconstruction of half of the south wall, disconnection and rotation of the brick panels on the western edge of the roof, installation of framing anchors, piers for the north and south sections of the west wall and the reconstruction of stone wall panels on the south end of the east wall (among other things).  Recommendations for the Cart Shed included that the south wall be re-plumbed and braced (including a collar tie connection upgrade), and the tie down over-batten be installed along the north side.

Works commenced following these recommendations to ensure the revitalisation of this Heritage site for the enjoyment of future generations.
