Airey Taylor Consulting were engaged by Central Pre-stressing to provide engineering services during construction, following their design and extensive shop drawing documentation of all post-tensioned levels for the development.  It features a split 15 and 22 storey tower with 3 podium levels.

The use of post-tensioned concrete suspended floor slabs and piled foundations was significant as they enabled building upon a problematic site that was a reclaimed garbage dump. The completed designs were delivered to meet an aggressive construction schedule and were fully co-ordinated for a gross floor area of 80,000 square metres.

The 500 guestroom, 6 star hotel is now the largest hotel in Perth – and will serve as a landmark development for Western Australian hospitality.  Congratulations to all contributors in bringing this beautiful and iconic project to fruition.
