Airey Taylor Consulting provided design and documentation of the extensive upgrades to the Crown Towers Resort main swimming pool and additions. The project was extremely challenging as the pools were built on a slab supported by piles; and requiring seamless integration of the existing aquatic facilities to the new.
The extended pool oasis area is world-class – covering 6,200 square metres and provides magnificent features including Poolside Bar & Grill, a new indoor pool facility, a huge main outdoor resort-style pool, and a kids pool. ‘The Enclave’ area consists of spectacular private cabanas surrounding a private plunge pool and spa, serviced for every need by a dedicated Host.
A unique feature of the main pool is the ‘Baja Shelf’ which houses semi-submerged Chaise Lounges allowing guests to sunbathe in cool water.
The upgrades also included a new children’s aqua playground which incorporated a toddler’s pool, aqua slides, spray fountains, water cannons and children’s play zones.
