{"id":5539,"date":"2025-12-18T04:24:05","date_gmt":"2025-12-18T04:24:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atconsulting.com.au\/_staging\/project\/forrestdale-south-west-primary-school-stage-1-2\/"},"modified":"2025-12-18T04:24:05","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T04:24:05","slug":"forrestdale-south-west-primary-school-stage-1-2","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/atconsulting.com.au\/_staging\/project\/forrestdale-south-west-primary-school-stage-1-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Forrestdale South West Primary School Stage 1 + 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Collaborators : Oldfield Knott Architects, PACT Construction (Stage 2), Firm Construction (Stage 1)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Project Value : $13.3 M (Stage 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Completed : January 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first stage of this project consisted of forward works, covered playground area, a kindergarten and demountables with the second phase providing the Wandi area with a modern Primary School \u2013 consisting of 5 teaching blocks, a library, a covered assembly area and the central administration building.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Airey Taylor Consulting provided structural engineering for the project, whose site featured a similar high water table to the nearby Piara Waters Pavilion, another Airey Taylor project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Structural Works consisted largely of structural steel, concrete slab and footings, and brickwork \u2013 with some anti-corrosive work and galvanisation of exposed steel and cavities due to the slight corrosive nature of coastal winds reaching the inland site.
